We went outside and looked at the Microsoft community. Who are the names? Who are the people that are making the buzz in that community and where are they going? That’s what brought me to Clear Measure.
It is not so much what Clear Measure said because we really didn’t even speak with Clear Measure until after pretty well most of the decision was made because this is the company that if you’re doing Microsoft Azure, I want to go to that company that was on the forefront of that development since the get-go.
One completely unexpected and pleasant benefit was the cost savings. We mistakenly believed that a traditional data center was the most cost-effective means of hosting. And so when we realized that we had to move to the cloud, it was assumed that expenses would drastically increase. So it was an absolute thrill to see our costs actually go down moving to Azure and because this makes up one of our major cost centers in doing business, this savings has added to our bottom line and even been passed on to our customers.
I recall the very first meeting with Clear Measure during that time of crisis. And the best way I could describe it was like walking into the NASA flight operations room and having an entire team of the best minds and talents in the industry at your disposal, ready to engage in solving the problem. And it was a very comforting experience.
I’ve been extremely impressed by the professionalism and the formality of Clear Measure that they’ve demonstrated throughout the project. During the entire migration, not once, did my confidence waver in their abilities. And actually, I look back and rather enjoy the project almost as much as I enjoy the day-to-day peace of mind since moving to Azure.”
